Growing up, this was the kind of stuff we did NOT want in our house and would end up at the dump (before they were called "landfills"). It looks to me like somebody had some old junk furniture and thought maybe they could make a buck out of it and relabeled it "distressed" and .....it too off as a trend. Somebody out there is laughing their head off about this.
