I was absolutely humbled to be apart of the "Lamar County Day of Prayer"! Our Chancery Clerk, Wayne Smith and the Lamar County Board of Supervisors hit it out of the park today! The leaders of our Great County understand that the only way we can move forward is with the Lord!! The county proclamation echoed the we are county who serves the Lord! We have people in County positions that rely on Jesus! Psalm 33:12 was read and states "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord". Also, 2 Chronicles 7:14 was read which states, "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land". With your help I look forward to joining this group of faithful leaders of Lamar County!!
