Judge Jackson Kiser officially entered his order granting Attorney General Mark Herring’s motion to dissolve the injunction that had allowed the use of the Confederate battle flags on Sons of Confederate Veterans (SCV) specialty license plates.
Because the injunction has been dissolved, the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) will begin recalling and replacing existing license plates with ones that comply with Virginia law.
