Highest Ranking Jewish Democrat in the House Opposes Iran Nuclear Deal

Rep. Steve Israel, the highest ranking Jewish Democrat in the House, said Tuesday he opposes the Iran nuclear deal and will work to defeat it in next month's vote in Congress. Israel made his announcement that he was coming out against the deal at the same time as two other prominent Jewish Democrats, Reps. Nita Lowey of Westchester and Ted Deutch of Florida. I have blogged for many years on various blogs. But mostly as what I might describe as a right-wing nutjob. That changed when I took a look at reality. Reality and the GOP dont mix well right now. I have left old posts from older days, though they do not reflect where I am now. But you can see the contrast. I read some of them now and I sometimes think "what was I thinking?" But, truth be told, being a right wing nutjob does not require a lot of thinking skills. A lot of parroting and pushing ideas you dont even have to understand. And then getting belligerent when pressed to explain. That's the Rightwing. I know. I was there. -ZR
