On filing, Mr. Giles released the following statement:
“It is time to bring conservative leadership and real Mississippi representation to Washington. The fact is, the American Dream is dead, and Mississippi needs a new voice willing to stand up to the D.C. cartel — not go along with it — in order to bring back the American Dream, better and stronger than ever before. Together we will Make America Great Again!”
“Over the next eight weeks, I will humbly ask for the Christian vote. I will humbly ask for the black vote. And I will humbly ask for the vote of any working-class man or woman who is tired of Mississippi’s elites robbing them blind and selling their interests to Obama and the D.C. corporatocracy.”
“My campaign will focus on three agenda items: I will be an outspoken advocate for protecting our borders and ending trade deals that steal jobs from hard working Mississippians; I will oppose all Muslimification of our United States; and I will fight tirelessly to defund Planned Parenthood.”
“While Rep. Harper is focused on enriching his cronies, and impoverishing Mississippi’s working class by funding more illegal immigration, I will only vote for budgets that actually close the border as law currently requires.”
“While Gregg Harper does Obama’s bidding by bringing in Syrian refugees who threaten our peace and prosperity, I’ll work to ban any Muslim refugee from setting foot in Mississippi.”
“And while Harper continues to vote again and again for Planned Parenthood, I will refuse to vote for any budget that does not explicitly defund Planned Parenthood.”
“Not only do Harper’s votes to fund Planned Parenthood, the influx of Syrian refugees, and illegal immigrant resettlement in the United States disqualify him from office, they are treasonous. Butchering babies is an abomination in the eyes of God, and Harper does the devil’s work in voting to fund Planned Parenthood.”
“Gregg Harper and his Mississippi GOP overseers are modern day plantation owners only interested in cheap labor. To Gregg Harper and his elitist pals, Mississippi is nothing but a plantation to get rich off of. Gregg Harper sells out Mississippi’s blacks and whites by giving good-paying jobs away to Mexicans.”
“Gregg Harper bends to Obama’s agenda to make America look more Muslim by funding Obama’s Syrian refugee program. Quite simply, that is treason. And it is time for Mississippi to stand up to this treason instead of funding it.”
“In addition to defunding Planned Parenthood, Syrian refugees, and fixing our immigration problem, I will be a tireless advocate for the Free Market, for a strong military and for our country’s sacred obligation to take care of our veterans and their families.”

And I call upon Gregg Harper to be a man and actually state his position on Mississippi’s first and only flag. If Gregg Harper will cave on immigration, abortion, Syria and our flag, will he stand up to Obama on GUNS???”
