Mike Huckabee Report 08.10.15

Mike Huckabee weighed in on Donald Trump's comments about Fox News Megyn Kelly on CNN::  "She is one of the most remarkable people I know. I would certainly never say anything about a person like that, and I hope he apologizes because I think that he should." Of course, Huckabee was a employee of Fox News for many years and would probably like to be rehired after the 2016 campaign should he lose.

Mile Huckabee says voter anger is driving much of the presidential campaign — including Donald Trump’s rise in the polls — and he understands the feeling.
“I’m not trying to cater to anger,” Huckabee said after addressing the Red State Gathering of conservative activists. “I am angry.”  --USA Today

Huckabee statement on Chuck Schumer's opposition to Obama's Iran deal:
“Thank God for Sen. Schumer and his opposition to this reckless nuclear deal with Iran. While I disagree with Sen. Schumer on most things, I applaud him for putting peace in the Middle East above partisan politics. Despite endless arm-twisting and enormous political pressure from the White House, Sen. Schumer chose statesmanship over partisanship.
Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee on Sunday said that if an unborn child is truly a person, then abortion is violating that person of his or her constitutional rights. Huckabee briefly mentioned the Fifth and 14th amendments to the U.S. Constitution during the Thursday night GOP presidential debate. On Sunday, ABC's "This Week" host George Stephanopoulos asked him about a recent report that he had not ruled out using the FBI and the military to stop abortion.  --NewsMax
