One America News Network: Ben Carson Scores Big Win at the First GOP Debate followed by Marco Rubio

WASHINGTON, Aug. 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- One America News Network, "OAN", a credible source for 24/7 national and international news, released this evening its Post GOP Debate Poll results conducted by Gravis Marketing.  Two primary questions asked to Republican polled participants were "Who do you think won the debate?" and "Who do you think lost the debate?"  GOP Presidential Candidates Ben Carson and Marco Rubio scored well in both categories.  Donald Trump came in second on the question of "who won the debate?" but he also scored second on "who lost the debate?" showing a heavily polarized Republican base when it comes to their post-debate opinions of the New York Businessman.  Rand Paul and Chris Christie did not have a good evening, with both scoring at the bottom of "who won?" and Paul taking the lead of "who lost?" with Christie coming in a distant third, behind Trump.
Polled registered Republican voters were also asked, "Do you have a more favorable or less favorable opinion of (each candidate) after the debate?"  Poll results clearly show that Ben Carson won the first GOP debate in the minds of Republican voters with Marco Rubio coming in second place.  Rand Paul had a rough evening, uncharacteristic of his general performance in state and national polls.
According to Robert Herring, Sr., CEO of One America News Network, "Dr. Ben Carson had a wonderful evening.  He was articulate and, at times, funny.  Carson stayed out of the verbal jabbing that cost Christie and Paul some points this evening."
Gravis Marketing, a nonpartisan research firm, conducted a random survey of 904 registered Republican voters across the U.S.  Questions included in the poll were focused only on the top ten GOP candidates that participated in the 9 PM ET debate. The poll has an overall margin of error of +/- 3%.  The polls were conducted on August 6, immediately following the GOP debate using interactive voice response, IVR, technology.  The poll was conducted exclusively for One America News Network.
One America News Network has been providing extensive coverage of the 2016 Presidential campaign, including numerous exclusive one-on-one interviews with the leading candidates.  One America News Network will be releasing on-going 2016 Presidential polling results.  Complete poll results of this recent poll, along with past polls, are available on One America News Network's website at: http://www.oann.com/pollresults/

Obamas former press secretary, Robert Gibbs, was hired by McDonalds to help with communication. Not missing a beat, Gibbs said complaints about cold french fries or missing orders will now be blamed on the previous McDonalds administration under George Bush..

CNN's Erin Burnett suggested that Pamela Geller "relished the idea of being a target by Muslims." Obviously not as much as Erin Burnett relishes the idea that people think she is a credible journalist.

Lindsey Graham has invited Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner to be a part of the Republican party. Graham will need a very strong VP candidate for him to even get close to the White House and he understands that Jenner has always been a strong runner.

Jimmy Carter told the AARP this week that most Americans are white racists.
Carter, of course, spends his time thinking its still the 1970s, still hopes to get a second term, and is still trying to "catch them Duke Boys."

Democratic presidential candidate Lincoln Chafee said that Hillary Clinton "is too corrupt to be president. " Chafee, of course, has no chance of winning the nomination. Not because he is so unknown, but because the Democratic Party does not nominate candidates who tell the truth.

Hillary Clinton said last week that her candidacy will "restore faith and confidence and optimism in the future of the country we love." It's not clear which country on her donor list she was talking about.

Truth be told, Hillary Clinton would be the best candidate the Democrats could offer. She clearly best represents everything sick, twisted, and fraudulent in the Democratic Party.

American Pharoah has won the Triple Crown. On Monday he will announce his 2016 candidacy for president.

Regardless of the rumors, American Pharoah does not have his own email server.

Take notice, Tom Brady, American Pharoah won the Triple Crown without deflating any footballs.

Somewhere, Hillary Clinton is wondering how American Pharoah could have won without donations from the Clinton Foundation.

Somewhere Karl Rove is very surprised that the Belmont Stakes wasn't won by Ohio.

The New York Times has made no effort to find any paper trail to uncover Benghazi, the IRS, or even Hilary Clintons emails. But they did find out that Marco Rubio and his wife have gotten 17 tickets. Next up: Did Ted Cruz turn in all his homework in 6th grade??..??

Rubio is Wrong: Scientific Evidence For Gays Being "Born that way" is Still Zero

Marco Rubio recently told the "Face The Nation" audience that he thought people were born gay. Science, however, says otherwise.

 The Christian Examiner Reported:

  • Despite nearly 25 years of research attempting to prove a biological origin for homosexual behavior, none has been found. Homosexual neuroscientist Siman LeVay made international headlines in 1991 when he purported to to find that the hypothalamus in the brains of straight men were bigger than those of gay men, whom he said were more similar to women in this grey matter region. However, LeVay later admitted that all 19 of his homosexual subjects died of AIDS and the difference in their brains could have been caused by chemical changes due to AIDS. Similarly, there were critical anomalies in his sample: Three homosexuals had larger clusters of neurons than the mean size for the heterosexuals, and three heterosexuals had clusters smaller than the mean size for the homosexuals.

  • Dean Hamer, a homosexual activist and researcher for the National Institutes of Health, claimed in a 1993 study of brothers to have found a region on the male X chromosome, Xq28, where a "gay gene" supposedly resided. But Hamer did not find a common genetic sequence among all the men as was reported. What he discovered was a unique commonality between brothers who were both homosexual. However, that commonality was individualized for each family and not across genetic makeups.
Hence:
  • In later years, both LeVay and Hamer backtracked on their discoveries, admitting that genetics had a limited role in determining homosexuality and that environment was an important factor.

The Capital Times: Did Marco Rubio just take a swipe at Paul Ryan on poverty?

U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Janesville, has made poverty a pet issue. For months the House budget chairman has been visiting blighted urban centers and has offered his own plan to help struggling Americans.
Ryan has also authored a string of budgets that slash the social safety net and has harped relentlessly on the failures of the War on Poverty.

Democrats have consistently hammered the former VP candidate for giving lip service to the poor then trying to pull the rug out from under them. Now he's getting push-back from within the GOP.
"Our debt isn’t driven by discretionary spending on poverty programs,” U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida told the New York Times magazine. “We’re not going to balance the budget by saving money on safety-net programs.”

"Marco Rubio Said What?!" reads a headline to a story by Danny Vinik in the New Republic.
"Sen. Marco Rubio delivered a subtle message to Rep. Paul Ryan and the rest of the Republican Party on Tuesday: Stop trying to balance the budget on the backs of the poor," Vinik writes. "It’s a sweeping change for a prominent presidential candidate from a party that has spent the last few years endorsing a document — the Ryan budget — that proposes drastic cuts to low-income programs."

This is a good place to note that both Ryan and Rubio are potential contenders for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination, and Rubio's snub of Ryan's policies was implicit.

"Now, Rubio didn’t refute the Ryan budget explicitly," Vinik writes. "His comments came in a New York Times magazine article by Sam Tanenhaus on the reform conservatism movement."
