President Obama Did Not Approve Major Garretts Question and Gets Defensive

One of the many reason he dislikes Fox News. Fox News doesn't just ask the question that he thinks they should  "know better" then to ask.

 Garret asked today:

  • “Can you tell the country, sir, why you are content with all the fanfare around this deal to leave the conscious of this nation, the strength of this nation, unaccounted for in relation to these four Americans?” Garrett asked.

Obama grew visibly upset and told Garrett he should “know better” than to ask that. Garrett later responded to Obama's public scolding:

  • “Politicians, especially those elected as president, are very adept at creating straw men. Taking something that they feel rhetorically works to their advantage and using it. That’s exactly what the president did,” Garrett said. “My question did not suggest he was content with the captivity of those four Americans. My question was about the contentment, or the satisfaction, or the realization that it was necessary within the context of this deal to leave them unaccounted for. That was the essence of the question.

Keith Plunkett: The state flag isn’t the problem. Forgetting our humanity is.

Excerpt from an article by Keith Plunkett.

A young mentally unstable young man in South Carolina, easily susceptible to a message of hatred and violence, and apparently without any parental supervision to help steer him in a different direction or get him the help he needed, walked into an African American church in Charleston and gunned down 9 people because of the color of their skin.

Within hours pictures surfaced of the young man waving a Confederate Battle Flag. President Obama’s lack of compassion for the dead in an attempt to use the tragic incident as a political means to reboot a discussion about gun control are quickly overshadowed when former presidential candidate Mitt Romney– with an equal lack of compassion for the dead–calls for the Confederate Battle Flag to be removed from flying at the state capitol in South Carolina. The outrage mob on Twitter and in the media picks up on the comments to begin focusing on Mississippi’s official state flag and the “need” to change it, too.

9 people are dead in South Carolina and their families and community are devastated. The remainder of a young mans life is ruined by the lack of a social network that could have and should have intervened. And all we can talk about now is a damn flag?

What the hell happened to our society that causes us to search for blame in an object, and ignore the real causes of social degradation?

We cannot change what happened in years past, but we can learn from it and change next year and the year after. Those who can’t take their experiences nor their time nor their place and honor it through action that puts the health of society and our people first will be easily manipulated by symbols and symbolic gestures that are meaningless when it comes to facing shared challenges. The problem doesn’t lie in the facade we paint, the problem lies in the hearts of each of us. We can’t create new packaging and expect the underlying issues to disappear into the wind.

Fortunately, if we have the courage to take our individual little pieces of knowledge, our own places in time and history, and join it together with others experience, then that is where the solutions can be found.
That starts with losing our newfound national pastime of constantly being offended and making politically selfish points out of every human tragedy.

The state flag isn’t the problem. Forgetting our humanity is.

Shorter Obama on the Failure of DC and Racism: It's Congress and Everyones Else Fault

While Charleston, SC was still reeling from the mass shooting, Obama was in Hollywood fundraising, pointing his finger, and dissing "dialogue."

Part of what he said:

"He thought that when I got to Washington I could bring people together and make them work more effectively, and the fact of the matter is that Washington is still gridlocked and still seems obsessed with the short-term and the next election instead of the next generation. And on that issue, I had to tell him, 'You're right. "

Then, just when you think he may actually "get it," he throws Congress under the bus and adds:

  • "I am frustrated and you have every right to be frustrated because Congress doesn't work the way it should."
So he pats himself on the back for having made some "good speeches" about "race" but then says dialogue isn't going to help.

  •  "If you're concerned about racial polarization in this country, it's nice to have dialogues around race, but me making a good speech — and I've made some good speeches on the subject — that's not going to solve the problem. What are you doing to reach out in your own community?"
Clearly, Obama's "shoot from the hip" type dialogue doesn't help anything and in fact has made him one of the most polarizing people involved int he racial debate.  But, of course...it's NEVER his fault. Everyone else is doing it wrong.

Obama Blames Pentagon for Lack of ISIS Plan - Pentagon Responds: "What the **** Was That?"

Monday, June 8, 2015

Tell Us Something We Don't Know: Obama says ‘We Don’t Yet Have a Complete Strategy’ Against ISIS in Iraq.'

Today at the G-7 Summitt in Germany, Obama said:

We’re reviewing a range of plans for how we might do that, essentially accelerating the number of Iraqi forces that are properly trained and equipped and have a focused strategy with leadership. When a finalized plan is presented to me by the pentagon, then I will share it with the American people. We don’t yet have a complete strategy because it requires commitments on the part of the Iraqis as well, about how recruitment takes place, how that training takes place. so the details of that are not yet worked out.”

Squire: The problem with America is the old white people (paraphrase mine)

Not really new by any means, but continuing the theme of how great Obama has been and how racist those cops were in Ferguson, writer Aurin Squire blames America's ills on the older white Americans.

And. of course, he says it all started to be clear when Obama was elected.

  • The most dangerous uprising that's threatening America's stability isn't black protests in places like Ferguson or Baltimore. It's taking place among an aging white majority that is losing its bearing on reality and destroying the gears of government, media and public welfare. At its center is an inexplicable, illogical and dangerous fear that some sociologists are now defining as white fragility. I have witnessed this strange phenomenon intensifying over the last several years, but I first became aware of it immediately after the election of Barack Obama.

Mitch McConnell Says He Won't; Which Means He Likely Will if Democrats Pressure Him

Based on his track history, that's been his usual course.

  • Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said Thursday he does not expect his chamber will appoint new circuit or Supreme Court justices for President Obama. “So far, the only judges we’ve confirmed have been federal district judges that have been signed off on by Republican senators,” McConnell said on “The Hugh Hewitt Show.” “And do you expect that that will continue to be the case for the balance of this session?” Hewitt asked. “I think that’s highly likely, yeah,” McConnell responded. Truckers Beware: Obama wants to add even more regulations to you.

No truer words were ever spoken then Ronald Reagan when he said one of the most terrifying words any American can hear is "I'm here from the government and I want to help."

Every time the government wants to make you safer it ends up costing you more.  If costs go up for truckers,  you can be guaranteed that it will affect food prices, among other things.

  • President Obama is expected to soon add emission rules for big-rig trucks to a growing list of regulations to combat the threat of climate change.
  • The president directed the Environmental Protection Agency to develop new rules for heavy-duty trucks to make them more fuel efficient, while lowering their carbon dioxide emissions to lessen the effects of global warming.
  • Trucking manufacturers will be looking to see if they are able to meet the standards without driving smaller trucking fleets out of business, according to industry representatives.
  • The rules will not only regulate the truck and the engine, but are also expected to add new efficiency and emission regulations for trailers that large tractor-trailer trucks haul. One official says it will be a "big rule" that comprises so many components of large trucks that it could easily be broken down into several separate regulations.

The usurping Occupant of the Oval Office has finally lost all touch with reality, and officially checked into la-la land

[c]Donna Wasson

Captain Tee-Time, the usurping Occupant of the Oval Office has finally lost all touch with reality, and officially checked into la-la land. On Wednesday, May 20th, he appeared before the graduating class at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and proceeded to vomit the most delusional, psychotic drivel all over their pretty uniforms. He actually told them, with a straight face, that climate change is one of the most serious threats to America's national security.

Yes, you read that correctly. The former horror of an encroaching ice-age morphed into global warming which switched dresses and became 'Climate Change.' This is because the propagandists can't figure out if the planet is getting hotter or colder but, DANG IT, the temperature is changing, therefore we need to institute wealth re-distribution from rich nations to poor nations so we can all live in a communist utopia, and sing Kum-Ba-Yah forever and ever. Praise lucifer. Yeah, that's the ticket!

I'll admit that even the most conservative members of this country have to concede there IS such a thing as climate change. It's called the seasons: winter, spring, summer and fall. Other than that, the planet is getting along just fine, thank you very much. Aside from our inability to keep from dumping oil into the ocean, and that whole Fukushima episode poisoning the Pacific, the global temperature fluctuates the way God designed it to thousands of years ago, and driving an SUV isn't going to change that.

Here is his quote. Try to contain your hysterical laughter until you've read it in its entirety.

"Climate change constitutes a serious threat to global security, an immediate risk to our national security. Make no mistake, it will impact how our military defends our country. So we need to act, and we need to act now. Denying it or refusing to deal with it endangers our national security. It undermines the readiness of our forces."

He also stated that avoiding the issue is a "dereliction of duty." And if anyone knows what a dereliction of duty is, it's Barack Obama.

Edwards: The status quo will not suffice for our survival as a constitutionally limited republic

[c] Ron Edwards, producer and host of The Edwards Notebook, a syndicated radio commentary

Once again, President Obama proves he is more concerned about appeasing terrorists and illegal immigrants than protecting our republic from enemies, both foreign and domestic. The United States has certainly endured past presidents who were not fully up to the task of defeating our enemies. They have also often failed when it comes to protecting our porous borders. But I must say, that no prior commander and chief comes close to the abysmal blatant disregard for protecting our republic in any regard. He has basically turned his back against any allied nation (like Israel) who may need our help against those seeking to kill steal and destroy.

To this day, the White House occupier has not approved, seriously proposed, or even considered one single measure that would benefit or strengthen the United States in any way. For example, even before the Obama regime, the federal government already has an abysmal record, when it comes to negotiating and participating in so-called “Free Trade” agreements. NAFTA and GATT quickly come to mind. In fact, every single trade agreement officially sanctioned has led to even greater U.S. deficits with our trading partners. There have been a very few cases where America had no trade deficit with a particular nation, but after government negotiations a huge deficit loomed on the horizon.

I would like to propose reductions in trade barriers even within our own nation. For example, Insurance companies would be free to ply their trade as far as the free market and success allows them. The government is not a friend of free enterprise or the general growing of businesses. The Founding Fathers understood the nature of government which is to usually be an impediment to such things as authentic free trade.

Secondly, I would propose that American based companies would be free to engage in economic activities with individuals and other companies located within any allied nation. Trade is trade and those involved know what’s most advantageous for their bottom line and the sale of their goods and services. Of course the government should have the resolve and power to protect the interest of American companies. For example from nationalization and seizure threats.

I believe that the federal government must be dissuaded from negotiating, so-called Free Trade agreements. I cannot recall any government negotiated Free Trade agreement that has benefited the United States. Again those government agreements have almost always increased or produced American deficits with foreign trading and or business partners.

Obama Blames Fox News for His Own Failures

Monday, May 18, 2015

Obama is Ok with "Self-regulated Militia" as Long as He is the "Self" who Regulates it

A recipe for a disaster is for Obama to get together with some of his progressive friends who observed events at Ferguson and decide what kind of equipment the police should be allowed to have. But, that's exactly what happened:

  • President Obama is banning local police departments from receiving a range of military-style equipment from the federal government -- from grenade launchers to bayonets to certain armored vehicles -- as he implements the recommendations of a panel that examined the controversial gear giveaways in the wake of the Ferguson riots. The White House announced Monday that Washington would no longer provide some military-style gear while putting stricter controls on other weapons and equipment distributed to law enforcement. The details were released in advance of an Obama visit to Camden, N.J., Monday afternoon where he met with youth and law enforcement. [Fox News}
Obama, by the way, is protected by Secret Service for the rest of his life.  From 1997 until 2013, legislation became effective limiting Secret Service protection to former Presidents and their spouses to a period of 10 years from the date the former President leaves office. President Barack Obama signed legislation reversing this limit and reinstating lifetime protection on January 10, 2013. [Wikipedia]

Obama: We’re going to have to change how the media reports on these issues

Obama does not have a very high regard for the first Amendment. Just this week he stated:

"I think that the effort to suggest that the poor are sponges, leeches, don’t want to work, are lazy, are undeserving, got traction. And look, it’s still being propagated. I have to say that if you watch Fox News on a regular basis, it is a constant venue. They will find folks who make me mad. I don’t know where they find them. They’re all like, “I don’t want to work. I just want a free Obama Phone, or whatever.” And that becomes an entire narrative that gets worked up. And very rarely do you hear an interview of a waitress, which is much more typical — who is raising a couple of kids and doing everything right but still can’t pay the bills.

And so, if we’re going to change how Rep. John Boehner (R-OH) and Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) think, we’re going to have to change how our body politic thinks, which means we’re going to have to change how the media reports on these issues, and how people’s impressions of what it’s like to struggle in this economy looks like. And how budgets connect to that. And that’s a hard process because that requires a much broader conversation than typically we have on the nightly news."

Obama Doesn't Heart Fox News (Again)

He needs a little cheese with his whine....

  • I have to say, if you watch Fox News on a regular basis, it's a constant menu. They will find folks that make me mad. I don't know where they find them," Obama said. "They're all like, 'I don't want to work, I just want a free Obamaphone, or whatever. That becomes a narrative that gets worked up."

Jonathan S Tobin: Nobody is saying that the kids shouldn’t be cared for.

The surge of illegal aliens–and in particular unaccompanied minors from Central America–across the border in Texas has started a debate in which more than immigration reform seems to be stake. While most conservatives are decrying the situation as the result of President Obama’s mistakes, some liberals are focusing on what they believe is the lack of compassion for the children that is being forgotten amid the politics. But as the plight of these desperate kids becomes publicized, Americans are being asked to make a choice between their charitable instincts and the rule of law.

That’s the conceit of a good deal of the coverage of the reaction to the border surge in which demonstrations by Americans angry about the arrival of busloads of illegals are seen as proof of the intolerance and anger at the heart of resistance to immigration reform. The deplorable condition of many of these children and the hardships and violence they faced on their way to the United States all demand the sympathy of any decent person. Once in this country, they deserve humanitarian aid. Republicans who have expressed reluctance to allocate funds to deal with the crisis may be right not to trust President Obama to use the $3.7 billion he has requested wisely. But so long as they are on American soil, there can be no question that the government and concerned citizens must do whatever is needed to see that they are housed, fed, and given the medical care they need.

But that isn’t what’s at stake in this debate. Nobody is saying that the kids shouldn’t be cared for. But the notion, pushed by the United Nations and a growing volume of liberal commentators, is that we must treat these illegals as refugees and let them stay in America rather than being sent back home.
The argument for this proposition rests principally on the idea that the kids are in genuine danger from violence in their own countries. Looked at from that point of view, sending them back would be a death sentence. Thus, granting them asylum is being represented as not merely ethical but our obligation as civilized people.

But the problem with this reasoning is that if this position is allowed to stand, Central America and indeed, much of the rest of the world, might well empty out as immigrants seeking a better life pour into the United States.

Sarah Palin: “It’s time to impeach”

Sarah Palin called for President Barack Obama’s impeachment Tuesday over his handling of a growing immigration crisis, becoming the most prominent right-wing US politician to make the provocative demand.

The 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee wrote on conservative website Breitbart that Obama’s “unsecured border crisis is the last straw,” and that lawmakers should evict him from the White House, 30 months before his scheduled departure.

“It’s time to impeach,” Palin wrote, focusing on the president’s use of executive orders to ram through legal action opposed by many Republicans.

“President Obama’s rewarding of lawlessness, including his own, is the foundational problem here,” she added.

“It’s not going to get better, and in fact irreparable harm can be done in this lame-duck term as he continues to make up his own laws as he goes along.”

Palin’s remarks follow those of several far-right Republican politicians who have also demanded Obama’s exit.

Obama "administration, along with his minions in the mainstream media, will tell you the economy is recovering."

While President Obama, Democrats and the mainstream media gleefully celebrate the job numbers for June which show an addition of 288,000 new jobs, most of the economic news is willfully ignored and withheld. No one in those groups will tell you the truth about this economy, they only spew the Obama lies.

This administration or the propaganda peddling mainstream media will not tell you that 75 percent of the jobs created in 2013 were part-time jobs. Nor have they told you that in June 523,000 full-time jobs were lost and that 799,000 part-time jobs were created, making those 288,000 jobs gained in June part-time jobs.
They are not touting the labor force is still at the lowest rate in nearly 40 years as millions have given up looking for a job. Nor do they brag about the median household income having shrunk over $4,000 since Obama took office.

The administration, along with his minions in the mainstream media, will tell you the economy is recovering. We’ve heard it for years; green shoots, we’ve turned a corner, the summer of recovery, the creation of private sector jobs. Have they spoken much of the GDP having been revised down for the first quarter to show it shrank at 2.9 percent? Well they blamed it on the weather. Canada’s weather was bad too but their economy didn’t shrink.

"Obama Presidential Library" Draws Criticism from Norfolk resident

The Omaha World Herald reported:
Norfolk resident Glory Kathurima said she attended the parade with her 9-year-old daughter. As a black woman living in Norfolk, Kathurima said she found the float to be an offensive depiction of the president. She emailed Norfolk Mayor Sue Fuchtman as well as the Norfolk Area Chamber of Commerce and the Norfolk Daily News to voice her disapproval. She also wrote to the Norfolk Odd Fellows Lodge, which coordinated the parade.
Kathurima said the float seemed to be calling the president stupid, and the message seemed clear: “I don’t like Obama.
The Omaha World Herald also reported:
The Nebraska Democratic Party also issued a statement, calling it one of the “worst shows of racism and disrespect for the office of the presidency that Nebraska has ever seen.”
The Omaha World Herald also reported:
However, parade committee member Rick Konopasek told the Lincoln Journal-Star that the float wasn’t meant to be any more offensive than a political cartoon. He also said the outhouse float was the most popular one in the parade, and the three judges awarded it an honorable mention.
